A positive working environment, a secure energy supply
Every construction site needs electricity; the larger the site, the more it needs. And it needs a reliable supply every single day: lighting, air conditioning and heating, battery-powered machinery, and vehicles that need to be recharged and ready to go the next morning. UV.containers make construction sites energy-independent and harness the sun’s daily energy for spaces, equipment and vehicles. In a comfortably temperature-controlled UV.container, work is easier, more focused and more efficient. The standardised construction containers are equipped with PV systems on the roof and can be easily linked together to realise their full energy potential, particularly on large construction sites. At the same time, they make optimal use of the limited space on construction sites and transform it into local energy infrastructure. Simple, efficient, scalable.
Full power for appliances and machinery
Whether it’s machinery, equipment or vehicles, electricity is increasingly becoming the go-to power source on construction sites too. UV.containers already have the necessary charging technology built in, meaning they are always available as a power source and ensure a reliable electricity supply. The photovoltaic panels installed on the roofs of the UV.carports supply electricity to the entire construction site, whether for buildings or machinery.

Financing
-
What financing options are available?
We have developed three financing options to offer a financially viable solution for everyone.
The most commonly used option is the so-called Power Purchase Agreement (PPA): UV.energy builds the system, and the customer receives the solar power generated by the system under a long-term, reliable contract.
Those who wish to own and use the PV power plant immediately should opt for the direct purchase: UV.energy designs, supplies and installs the system for immediate use. You receive a clear price with no hidden costs and can get started straight away.
If you would like to own a system from UV.energy but cannot or do not wish to opt for a direct purchase, you can choose to finance the system through UV.energy. Together with a reliable financial partner, we can make this option available to you. Please get in touch!
-
How much does a system cost?
The total cost of a facility depends on the number of UV.carports. There are also costs associated with soil testing. In order to plan a UV.carport facility and implement the project cost-effectively, we require a minimum of 10 spaces. You will receive a project proposal, including a guide price, once the planning has been finalised on our calculator.
Design
-
Will all the cars fit in the car park?
UV.carports are designed to accommodate even tall and wide vehicles. The height is sufficient to accommodate even small vans and motorhomes. The width of a UV.carport is flexible and, as standard, covers parking bay widths from 2.30 m to 2.70 m. The clear height of the UV.carport system is 3.00 m at the rear of the supports and approximately 3.15 m at the front.

-
How is the electricity connected?
The power cables and all other technical components are integrated into the roof of the UV.carports. All the necessary connections are pre-configured here, so that the individual UV.carports can be linked together using a simple and secure plug-in system. The inverters are mounted on the rear of the carports at a safe height or, on request, can be grouped together in the vicinity of the parking area to ensure better access, for example for maintenance. If the electricity from the photovoltaic systems is to be used within a building, we will work with you to plan the necessary installation and cabling.
Benefits
-
Is there a minimum size for a carport?
UV.carport has been developed to transform large infrastructure sites into energy infrastructure. The system therefore really comes into its own over larger areas. Optimal performance is achievable with a minimum of 10 units. Furthermore, UV.carport can be expanded indefinitely.
-
Can UV.carport also be used to charge electric cars?
Even in their standard configuration, UV.carports are already future-proofed for charging electric cars. For you, this means you can easily upgrade your UV.carport to an electric charging station at any time—or order it that way from the start. It’s reassuring to know that we designed the structure from the ground up to be vandal-proof.
-
Which areas are suitable?
Ideally, the site for a UV.carport installation should provide space for at least 10 carports, plus the necessary manoeuvring space for the vehicles. It is also important to have a load-bearing surface to ensure that the ground anchors are firmly secured. UV.energy will carry out a professional ground assessment on your behalf.

The energy transition in the blink of an eye
We are rethinking local energy generation. Simple, scalable and, above all, achievable. For a rapid and effective energy transition led by businesses, local authorities and infrastructure operators.
vision
Ready for action in a flash
UV.containers are delivered fully operational and require only minimal initial installation work. Once set up, they are ready for immediate use and, thanks to their standard dimensions, can be transported to any construction site using conventional vehicles, just like any other site container. Quickly commissioned on site, UV.containers provide power straight away, either via a charged buffer storage unit or directly from the sun.
Uninterrupted power supply
When the construction site is quiet and the sun takes a break, UV.container units keep working, ensuring that work can resume immediately the next morning. Integrated buffer storage units recharge battery-powered equipment, and electric vehicles are also recharged. And all of this is powered by renewable energy that costs construction companies nothing. This not only makes construction sites more efficient, but also significantly cheaper.
