The solar revolution begins
in the car park
Energy is best generated exactly where it is needed. We are convinced of this. Instead of a few large, centralised power stations, millions of decentralised energy sources are driving the energy transition. That is why we are transforming existing infrastructure into a global, clean energy network.
UV.energy develops solutions that turn existing spaces and infrastructure into local energy sources. Our guiding principle is simple: keep it simple!
Digital pre-planning, streamlined planning permission processes, standardised systems and rapid installation without concrete foundations make energy generation radically simple. Our current solutions, UV.carport and UV.container, will soon be joined by further innovations.
This is how the energy transition is taking off right in the car parks of supermarkets, car dealerships, businesses, local authorities and government agencies – or on construction sites around the world.
Planning a solar power plant made easy
Soil analysis directly from UV.energy
Fast approval through standardised planning applications
No foundations required
UV.carports are securely anchored to the ground using metal point foundations and require no concrete foundations whatsoever. UV.energy will check for you whether your site is suitable.
The absence of concrete foundations significantly shortens the planning permission process, whilst the innovative ground anchors considerably speed up the installation of UV.carports.
Your parking space will remain available throughout the installation: work will only be carried out in sections and for short periods – there will be no need for large-scale closures lasting several days.
Fully scalable PV power plants thanks to their modular design
Transport of up to 20 carports per (standard) lorry
Plug-in system, flexible placement
High scalability, rapid deployment
UV.carports are quickly assembled on site and easily connected to one another using a flexible plug-in system. The electrical wiring routed through the roof is protected against the weather and vandalism.
UV.carports can be linked together in any number. Optionally, UV.carports can also be expanded to form a vandal-proof electric charging station for cars.
A standard flatbed lorry can carry up to 20 UV.carports. This enables extremely quick and straightforward on-site assembly. Thanks to their modular design and standardised components, UV.carports are available at short notice.

Financing
-
What financing options are available?
We have developed three financing options to offer a financially viable solution for everyone.
The most commonly used option is the so-called Power Purchase Agreement (PPA): UV.energy builds the system, and the customer receives the solar power generated by the system under a long-term, reliable contract.
Those who wish to own and use the PV power plant immediately should opt for the direct purchase: UV.energy designs, supplies and installs the system for immediate use. You receive a clear price with no hidden costs and can get started straight away.
If you would like to own a system from UV.energy but cannot or do not wish to opt for a direct purchase, you can choose to finance the system through UV.energy. Together with a reliable financial partner, we can make this option available to you. Please get in touch!
-
How much does a system cost?
The total cost of a facility depends on the number of UV.carports. There are also costs associated with soil testing. In order to plan a UV.carport facility and implement the project cost-effectively, we require a minimum of 10 spaces. You will receive a project proposal, including a guide price, once the planning has been finalised on our calculator.
Design
-
Will all the cars fit in the car park?
UV.carports are designed to accommodate even tall and wide vehicles. The height is sufficient to accommodate even small vans and motorhomes. The width of a UV.carport is flexible and, as standard, covers parking bay widths from 2.30 m to 2.70 m. The clear height of the UV.carport system is 3.00 m at the rear of the supports and approximately 3.15 m at the front.

-
How is the electricity connected?
The power cables and all other technical components are integrated into the roof of the UV.carports. All the necessary connections are pre-configured here, so that the individual UV.carports can be linked together using a simple and secure plug-in system. The inverters are mounted on the rear of the carports at a safe height or, on request, can be grouped together in the vicinity of the parking area to ensure better access, for example for maintenance. If the electricity from the photovoltaic systems is to be used within a building, we will work with you to plan the necessary installation and cabling.
Benefits
-
Is there a minimum size for a carport?
UV.carport has been developed to transform large infrastructure sites into energy infrastructure. The system therefore really comes into its own over larger areas. Optimal performance is achievable with a minimum of 10 units. Furthermore, UV.carport can be expanded indefinitely.
-
Can UV.carport also be used to charge electric cars?
Even in their standard configuration, UV.carports are already future-proofed for charging electric cars. For you, this means you can easily upgrade your UV.carport to an electric charging station at any time—or order it that way from the start. It’s reassuring to know that we designed the structure from the ground up to be vandal-proof.
-
Which areas are suitable?
Ideally, the site for a UV.carport installation should provide space for at least 10 carports, plus the necessary manoeuvring space for the vehicles. It is also important to have a load-bearing surface to ensure that the ground anchors are firmly secured. UV.energy will carry out a professional ground assessment on your behalf.
